Legal Spend Management Application The corporate customers provide identifying information and must enter some specific information regarding legal matters they wish to assign to registered attorneys. This information, which may be limited to registered attorneys in particular geographic locations or having specific practice experience, is available to the attorneys also. Law firms can enter law firm information such as the firm name, address, phone/fax number, Web URL, employee information, pricing offers to perform services and billing information. Firm resumes and other marketing information may be included, as ethically permitted by the regulating bar or court in each state. Both corporate customers and law firms can access fee structures, information about particular legal matters and electronic invoices, and reports. Aggregate data gathered in the CounselLink application that contains no personally identifiable information may be shared with you and other responsible third parties. In the event Examen is legally compelled by court order or other legal process to disclose confidential or privileged Information, we will notify the affected parties, using the notification information they have provided to us, to allow them an opportunity to obtain protective orders or other relief to which they may be entitled. Customers and law firms that choose to discontinue use of the CounselLink application and unsubscribe to system generated communications by contacting Account Management Department at 800-600-2282. The LegalPrecision® E-Billing
Application The LegalPrecision applications allows law firms to securely check the processing status of submitted legal bills, open and close matters warehoused in their client's database, and view online reports from a data warehouse of information compiled from their billings. Corporate customers can securely review, adjust and approve legal bills online, view and generate reports, check the processing status of legal bills, open and close matters, attach files to legal matters and access information about their law firms. Access to the customer's account is strictly controlled through passwords and User ID's. Other than aggregate data that is not personally identifiable information, we limit the sharing of data as follows: invoices (including any information on them) and other information submitted by a law firm on behalf of a corporate customer will be shared only with that client; information submitted by a corporate customer concerning a certain law firm will be shared only with that law firm. In the event Examen is legally compelled by court order or other legal process to disclose confidential or privileged Information, we will notify the affected parties, using the notification information they have provided to us, to allow them an opportunity to obtain protective orders or other relief to which they may be entitled. Law firms can unsubscribe by contacting our Client Support Department at 916-921-4300 or email ask@examen.com. The law firm may also ask us to deactivate further communication through the Gateway.
